Founded on a Personal Journey to do Better by Our Horses
After my horse, Malachite, had three gas colic episodes in one week, I decided to re-evaluate his diet.. it led me to a community of horse enthusiasts, nutritionists, and I immersed myself into learning as much as possible about a balanced, forage based diet.
In my mind, it only made sense to go back to basics and feed what horses are naturally meant to eat- forage!

A Balanced Diet
My goal is to bring simple equine feed products to our local community of equine partners. I think it is possible to have a balanced diet without ultra-processed commercial grains, and a cabinet full of supplements. Us humans have a way of overcomplicating things, and I think its time to get back to basics!
